A two-day course on otosurgery and auditory implantation with an extended dissection of the temporal bone and the lateral base of the skull was launched at the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy on June 14.
The course was organized by the specialists of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Ear, Throat, Nose and Speech together with the doctors of the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy.
The course program is designed for two days. The participants attended theoretical and practical classes. The course was led by acknowledged experts in the field of microsurgery and treatment of hearing and speech disorders.
