Korean surgeons learn from their St. Petersburg colleagues
In early September, a delegation from the Republic of Korea visited the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Ear, Throat, Nose and Speech.
The main purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the newest and most advanced method of hearing restoration – cochlear implantation. Colleagues from South Korea not only studied the materials used by Russian surgeons, but also saw first-hand the surgical skill of Professor Vladislav Kuzovkov. After all, the surgeon has already conducted more than 5,000 successful cochlear implant surgeries and he is always ready to share his unique experience in this field.
